Hello, you can call me Loog!

My interests include: retro games, visual art, music composition, biology, ecology, technology.

This is my place to dump my thoughts, interests, music, art, anything. I've never had a lasting presence on social media, so I consider this my debut to the world! My goal here is to express myself, share some of it with others, and perhaps connect with some like-minded visitors. Enjoy!

• Keep things simple, yet functional
• Be genuine, sincere
• No nostalgic old-web things for the sake of it
  • Old-school stuff should be incidental
  • Avoid making things look like a compilation of internet "aesthetics"
  • Let the new indie web be its own thing, not a cheap copy of the past

8/11/2026 I have a couple of pages I'm thinking of throwing together: Fun/useful links and arcade game highscores. The latter would be added after I rediscover my love for mame and get some baseline scores down. I'm not a sweaty pro gamer my any means, so it would be regular player scores for readers like you to beat. Later!

7/27/2026 I've been slowly modifying the layout of my site as I learn basic html and css. Has been a fun throwing things together from scratch, as ghetto as it looks. I've also added a blog, where I'll cover any topic I'm interested in yapping about. The first post is already out!
